Post-Care

The treatment area is more susceptible to sunburn, sun damage, and hyperpigmentation. Avoid direct sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 40 sunscreen.

Aggressive exfoliation, waxing and products containing acids should be avoided in the treatment area for a minimum of two weeks pre- and post-treatment.

Avoid the use of Retin-A type products pre- and post-treatment.

How often should I get a HydraFacial? 

Every 4-6 weeks for optimal results. Patients can receive a HydraFacials sooner if recommended by your skincare professional

Does it hurt? 

HydraFacials DO NOT hurt. You will experience a light suction with an infusion of the solutions.

Is HydraFacial safe during pregnancy? 

HydraFacials have not been approved for pregnancy or those that are breastfeeding. This does not mean your skincare services have to stop. Speak to your skincare professional for alternative options.

When will I see results? 

You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin will feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks. For improved, longer lasting results, consider take-home products (your provider will be happy to customize a skin care plan!) and monthly HydraFacial treatments.
