It was 2015 when Addyi first came on the market. It took 6 years, nearly fourteen thousand test subjects, and a black box label before it cleared the FDA. It was the first, and until 2019, the ONLY FDA approved drug to treat HSDD in women. Viagra on the other hand was fast tracked in 6 months with just four thousand test subjects. Why?
