What is the EmpowerRF device?
The EmpowerRF platform leverages multiple, different technologies, or handpieces, to treat a variety of health conditions. A comprehensive summary of the use and benefits of each hand piece can be found below:
Morpheus8 (M8) is a minimally-invasive technology that delivers fractional radiofrequency (low-frequency energy) and microneedling (use of thin needles to facilitate controlled injury) deep into the adipose tissue. During treatment with the Morpheus8 technology, tissue is remodeled through controlled injury to the treatment area. As a result, tissue appears more firm, tighter, smoother, and more youthful. M8 treatment areas include the external tissues of the face, vulva, body, arms, neck, back, knees, and abdomen. This treatment may improve the appearance of scars, fine lines, wrinkles, crepey skin, sun damage, and uneven skin texture.
Morpheus8 (M8V) is similar to the Morpheus8 (M8) technology in that it delivers radiofrequency and microneedling to strengthen and restore tissue. Treatment with M8V is delivered deep into the tissues of the vagina. M8V works by remodeling the production of the tissue’s collagen and elastin proteins, which help to keep the tissue strengthened and firm. This leads to enhanced elasticity, lubrication, and structure of the vaginal tissue. M8V treatment may improve symptoms of painful sex, lichen sclerosus, vaginal laxity and dryness, displeasure with vaginal appearance, stress urinary incontinence, and an overactive bladder.
FormaV delivers radiofrequency energy into the tissues of the vagina and vulva. During this treatment, heat is delivered gently and uniformly across the internal and external genitalia, increasing blood flow and production of collagen and elastin to the area. The result is strengthened pelvic floor muscles, reduced vulvar and vaginal dryness, and improved vaginal pH. Aviva uses radiofrequency and thermal heat energy to reshape the soft tissues of the vulva.
